PEHIT project -  complex activating the persons with psychiatrical needs and the care takers at the 7 (Tartu, Elva, alatskivi, Luunja, Mäksa, Puhja, Tähtvere) Tartu county communities.

Target of the project is support care takers and persons with psychiatrical needs finding the job and cut down on care load the care takers.

Target grpoup  is working age (18-64) care takers and persons with psychiatrical needs from 7 Tartu  county.

PEHIT project main activities are  

  • Creating two new consepts for care takes and psychiatrically disabled persons for gettinga integrated services in 7 Tartu county communities,
  • Informing public in local newspapers, community homepages, newspapers, websight and forum  about local and state social services and additional  opportunities from project,
  • Mentors, psychologists, social workers and loan consultats consulting for finding solutions for care situations and finding work possibilities for care takers and for persons with psychiatrical needs, needed services,
  • Providing selfhelp groups for project participants exchanging the experiences and supporting eachother ,
  • Organizing club activities for participations of project in  communities.
  • Offering transportation support for care takes and disabled persons.

Project duration is 01.07.2009  -  30.06.2012.

PEHIT project is financed by Europan Social Fond and Foundation Mental Health Care Center  of Tartu and 7 Tartu county communities. All together 193 393 euro.

Achieved results 2012

  • 120 persons  involved in project
  • 80 persons  involved in Unemployment Insurance Office services
  • 25 persons find a work and working
  • 2 new  working conceptions in Tartu 7 county goverments
  • Websight and e-forum for care takes and psychiatrically disabled persons 
  • The conference about results in May 2012
